When Monsters Attack: Extra-Terrestrial Horrors of Beloit Wisconsin is a middle grade novel written by Steve Wilson and Matthew Bey. It tells the story of Sioux Cantu, a geeky Brooklyn kid who has to stop an alien invasion of Beloit, Wisconsin, using only his wits and an online wiki. He gets more than a little help from his friend Alexandreina (or Alex for short), a Romanian exchange student who's more used to fighting vampires than caustic blobs from outer space.
